Introduction to QCXpert

QCXpert is a comprehensive Quality Control Management System designed to streamline welding inspection, project tracking, and reporting workflows.

The system replaces manual Excel-based tracking with a unified digital platform, ensuring real-time data accuracy, automated report generation, and full traceability of welding activities.

Roles & Responsibilities

Admin

Has full access to the system. Can manage users, create projects, edit master data (variables), and oversee all reporting activities.

Project Manager

Responsible for specific projects. Can edit project details, assign team members, and view all project-related reports.

QC Inspector

Performs field inspections. Can add line items, record welding joints, update NDT status, and input daily welding records.

Project Sections & Features

Each project in QCXpert contains several key modules:

  • Attachments: Store drawings, specs, and other files.
  • Line Items: Define spools, lines, and systems.
  • Welding Traceability: Track individual joints, welder IDs, and visual inspection results.
  • NDT Descriptions: Group joints for NDT requests (RT, PT, MPI, etc.).
  • Bolt Torquing: Record flange management and torque values.

Reporting

QCXpert automatically generates PDF reports based on entered data:

Welding Traceability Report
Summary of all line items, joints, and welder stamps.
NDT Request/Report
Formal request sheets for NDT technicians.
Bolt Torquing Report
Compliance reports for flange tightening.
Monthly Performance

Working Offline

QCXpert is designed to work in remote sites with poor or no internet connectivity.

How it works:
  • Install the app on your device (Accept the "Install" prompt).
  • You can view projects and forms offline.
  • Any data entered while offline is saved locally.
  • Once you reconnect to the internet, the system will automatically sync your changes to the server.
